Who We Help
CASE STUDY - OH, WHAT A HAPPY DAY!
Tate is ready to retire tomorrow! Realistically, he’s still probably about five years away from that happy day. However, he wants to make sure he’s as ready as possible. That is where we come in.
Over the years we have created a financial plan for Tate and his wife, Amy. As part of that process, we compiled a full analysis of their savings, investments and expected future income. We emphasized maximizing products that sheltered their decades of savings and income from taxation as much as possible. Every year we get together to update the details of the plan and project where things will end up.
While it’s not guaranteed that things will work out exactly as planned, Tate and Amy enjoy a real sense of being in control of their financial future. As a result, they can look forward with even more confidence to that happy day!
While this particular scenario isn’t real and only for illustrative purposes, we want you to know that we are skilled at handling situations like this. If you want to put a plan in place that helps prepare you to more fully enjoy your happy day, we invite you to contact us.
CASE STUDY - WE'RE HAVING A BABY!
Ben and Kris just welcomed a new addition to their family! Riley is an eight-pound bundle of love. Ben and Kris and both their parents – first time grandparents – want to do all they can to make sure that Riley gets a good education. Fortunately for Riley, Mom and Dad had the foresight to start planning for her future early.
There are several options to consider. We understand all of them and laid them out for Ben and Kris, and their parents in a fashion that helped them make informed decisions that will have meaningful impact on Riley’s future. We also helped Riley’s grandparents put a gifting plan in place that will support Riley’s future education while they are alive as well as when they pass on.
The result is that Riley will be one lucky girl. No matter what path she decides to take in her future, the family can rest assured that there will be resources to support her along the way.

CASE STUDY - THE DEATH OF A SPOUSE
Recently we received word that one of our great clients, Molly, passed away. As if the grief associated with losing a lifelong partner is not enough, the surviving spouse, Bill, wasn’t the one who managed most of the financial details for the couple.
We helped Bill by reviewing all the financial accounts that were in place. Since we had recently reviewed their financial plan, we had an inventory of those accounts, their life insurance policies and the Trust they had in place. Having that all in one place allowed us to provide guidance and to assure him that he would be alright. We also made sure that any investment and retirement accounts were re-titled appropriately so as to not cause any unnecessary tax burden.
As a result of our work together, Bill has one less stress and can focus on mourning his wife, being a good steward of her legacy and eventually, getting on with his life.
While this scenario isn’t real and only for illustrative purposes, we want you to know that we are skilled at handling situations like this. If you want to put a plan in place that puts everything in perspective, we invite you to contact us.
